Summer is approaching fast, and do you know how to safely travel with your vape gear?
The first essential question is: what mode of transport will you be using?
If you’re flying, there are several important safety rules to keep in mind.
Airlines allow you to carry vape equipment in your carry-on luggage. All batteries must also be in the carry-on, as carrying them in checked luggage is prohibited. Batteries should be properly secured during the journey. Special battery cases or silicone sleeves are excellent for this purpose.
Avoid traveling with a filled tank!
While not a formal rule, it’s practical advice. Changes in air pressure can cause liquid to leak from the tank. If you do decide to travel with liquid in your tank, make sure to place your vape in a sealed zip-lock bag.
When it comes to e-liquids, containers in carry-on luggage must be no larger than 100ml. It’s best to pack e-liquids in checked luggage. Ensure they are sealed tightly to avoid leaks that could damage your luggage.
