As of July, e-cigarettes in Australia can only be sold in pharmacies. Colorful packaging and flavorings are banned, and pharmacists are required to inform customers about the health risks, according to the dpa news agency.
“E-cigarettes pose a serious threat to public health and are a tool of the tobacco industry, specifically designed to hook a new generation on nicotine,” emphasized Health Minister Mark Butler.
